"All my life I have loved photographs. Whether old or new, complex or simple, posed or unexpected, the very moment in time they capture is of great interest to me. What is photographed and put to paper will never be seen again like that moment in time. My goal is to capture these moments, so they may be remembered in the days, years, or decades to come." Linda K. Toups

The National Railway Historic Society held their annual convention this week in Chattanooga, TN. As a finale to their convention, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum took about 400 members from Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel to Summerville, Georgia. There, both engines were turned and reconnected to eleven cars. After a two hour break in Summerville, passengers boarded and headed back to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. I hate to pass up any opportunity to chase the TVRM's 610 steamer, and indeed this was a rare treat. If you would like more info on NRHS, please visit their website by clicking here. For more information on the rides available with TVRM, please click here. The photos below start at Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia and follow the train all the way to Summerville at the turntable. Do not hesitate to ask for cropping, editing, or any other photo questions. I appreciate and thank you for looking at my work.
