Were there such a thing
as "Photo-Aholics Anonymous", I would probably have to
join. Even at a young age, I was fascinated with photographs of
any kind. When the time came to learn to use a
camera, I did. Starting with my fathers Graflex Graphic 35mm
camera with a maximum shutter speed of 1/300 and split focus system,
it became clear things were pretty complex to get the picture that
your eye actually saw. Learning the workings of a camera and
the details of light was in order.
In 2000, I purchased my next SLR film camera and some good stock lenses. My picture taking knowledge grew exponentially and my photographs were inspiring enough to have people ask me to take pictures of special moments in their lives. It was at this time I was hooked for good.
With the changing of time and technology, it became obvious I needed to switch to using a Digital SLR camera if I wanted to make a living taking pictures. I made that leap in 2005 and have never looked back.
My education and abilities have been focused on taking a great picture in its raw form. While I am capable with photo editing software, and enjoy the creative things they can do, my first interest is in taking a great photograph. My personal goal is to stay on top of the technology curve while learning new ways to create the personal and beautiful photographs I enjoy.
Nothing pleases me more than to apply my ability in taking quality photographs, so my clients have that perfect photo they can enjoy for a lifetime. I hope you will Contact Me, so I may do the same for you.
